VINTAGE REEL TO REEL TAPE RECORDER CATALOGS

It probably seems unlikely to see the Montgomery Ward catalog in our vintage recorder section. However, the Wards Catalog store was a prime source for things in Alpine, Texas. Even the furniture for my first home was ordered from the catalog store and shipped in by train. One of the interesting things in making some of our acquisitions from ebay is a repeat of the feelings of anticipation waiting for shipments to arrive.

These Webcors (on just one page) were the only recorders available in the catalog. The convincing feature was the Squire's ability to record "Synchro-Track," or "Sound with Sound" enabling us to work with musicians who were developing new songs and harmonies.
